The Nature Conservancy of Canada The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is a private, non-profit organization working for the direct protection of Canada's biodiversity through the purchase, donation or placing of conservation easements on ecologically significant lands. The BC Interior Project The BC Interior project consists of two separate but overlapping projects led by NCC and its partners: the Central Interior Ecoregional Assessment and the Fraser Basin Pilot Project Within these two large projects are sub-projects. Under the umbrella of the Central Interior ecoregional assessment is a sub-project to implement the BC government's Species At Risk Framework; and another project, funded by GeoConnections, to develop a Regional Atlas and a decision support system.
